With a range workshops and socials, the Alumni Network is suitable for anyone in university, senior grades of high school or for those starting out in their careers looking to accelerate their educational or professional careers. 

JABC Alumni Network Membership is open to anyone who's participated in a Junior Achievement program. This can be from any year, or from anywhere across the country! 

The group will help you build professional friendships and skills through the following events and activities...

  • Learn from local business professionals during free workshops (social media, personal branding, etc)

  • Get the inside view of your favourite shops during company tours (like Telus, Hootsuite, Richie Bros, and MEC)

  • Stay up to date on volunteer activities with JABC

  • Participate in socials with your peers

Plus, membership is completely free, and open to any JABC or other JA past participant.

If you're in High School

Learn how to prepare for university by talking with those who have already gone through the process! Attend workshops that help you build resumes, cover letters for summer jobs or school applications. 

If you're in University 

Continue to develop your network and skills while attending university. Meet other students from various programs and schools to start developing your professional network. Plus, attend workshops to continue building your resume and employable skills. 

If you're a Young Professional 

Talk with other students transitioning into their first careers. Learn the best tactics for acing interviews, negotiating wages, and discussions on career advancement.
